Today was another quiet day. Andrew slept well last night, so he was less tired today; however, he has been quite nauseous. The doctor has ordered something to take care of that. We are all very anxious to hear back from those 2 hospitals tomorrow, and hoping they will soon be able to evaluate Andrew to see if he's a candidate for their programs. Other than that, he rested up a lot today as tomorrow he will begin a tough regimen of weaning off the ventilator. It is going to take a lot of focus and determination, and I know he can do it. Tomorrow is also another big day . . . his birthday! It's not really the place he wanted to celebrate it, but I'll do my best to make it as special as I can under the circumstances. Well, not much to report today. Please continue to lift Andrew in prayer . . . God is good and He will answer our prayers, it was His promise to us. Good Night and God bless. Joye

I am so glad you are getting settled it sucks to be in the hospital and if anyone knows that I DO!!! now I know you have to be laughing.. But know that with each day that passes you are getting stronger. I will pray that Joye will be able to find the right hospital and which ever one it is, it's the one God wants you in. Happy Birthday Andrew!!!!!! Bo says Hi... we were at the boys baseball game Wednesday and it was alittle chilly and I covered Bo up with a blanket and his comment was "At least this blanket isn't PINK like the blanket Andrew was covered up with at the last game he was at!" I told him that Andrew would be after you if he was here. Boy, has CJ improved in his baseball skills.... Pitching and making outs! We had him a few days the week of the fair and I got a kick out of watching him trying to stop those pigs from running away down the alley ways and then to see him keeping them clean while the boys dressed before they showed..It was great... He will be a pig farmer before we know!! Loved having him.... I think we will try to get the boys together this weekend too. Both of you hang in there... Will and I were at church yesterday (Sunday) and joined hands and lifted our thoughts and prayers to the lord in your names. With the Love ALL things are possible!!! Love Will & Tammy Toms

Stay strong and focused as you work hard to get off the ventilator. Can't imagine the effort it is going to take, but if anyone has that level of strength and determination, it is you.

While it must be difficult for you to find the time to update everyone, please know that there are no amount of 'thank you's' that could possibly express the appreciation for you doing so. It is so comforting knowing his daily progress. One thing that is very apparent with your updates is that Drew is extremely fortunate to have you in his life and by his side.
