Joye's Update 5/9/08
A pretty quiet day today. Most of the early part of the day, they did a lot of medical tests on him. He was pretty tired for the remainder of the day after all that. They will be doing some more tests tomorrow and then they may begin his weaning program from the ventilator. Andrew has been very nauseous and he's still getting accustomed to breathing at this altitude; hopefully that will pass soon. Other than that, there wasn't a whole lot going on today. I asked Andrew if he feels he's in the right place, and he says he feels very confident with his care here; he's just anxious to get going on his rehab program. Thank you for all your prayers . . . we know God is going to see Andrew through this. Good Night and God bless. Joye

Hi Joye and Andrew,
Good to hear that you are setteling in at the hospital. Get rest this weekend so that when the work begins, you are more than ready.
I ran into Dru tonight while having dinner at Burgers and Beer. It's been about 2 years since I have seen her. She is so pretty!!!! We had a quick visit. It was great seeing her. Anthony didn't even recognize her. It's been YEARS since he has seen her.
We will continue our prayers.
Until next time.
Lots of Love,
Dawn and Anthony
Heys Guys! Glad you made it to CO. Hoping to make a trip (about 5 hrs from me)to see you when Drew gets there so I can see you both. Acacia lives in Aurora which is a rocks throw away. If you need anything at all, I'm sure she will be glad to help. Stay strong and Andrew, I'm waiting to make the trip cuz I want more than lip moving and eye rolling when I get there-well, I know the eye rolling will continue-lol Love Ya!
