Joye's Update 6/17/08
Kind of a rough day today. Andrew was having some pain in his chest this morning. He said he felt like someone was sitting on his chest . . . it was just very heavy feeling. They scanned him and did an EKG and a few other tests, and found nothing scary. He was still having this "heavy" feeling tonight, but no answers so far. Due to this, he was unable to wean today. We are praying for a better day tomorrow. Please continue to pray for Andrew . . . he's needing strength and encouragement. On a good note . . . Denny and Kristine Harkins visited us today. It was great to see them and it really cheered Andrew up to get the "scoop" from Kristine and to pray with Denny. It was a great day in that respect. Good Night and God bless. Joye

Hi Joye and Andrew,
Well, I will still be in the cheering section to cheer on your progress even if it was stalled today. I will also continue my prayers for you to gain strength.
So until next time.
Lots of love and prayers,
Dawn
PS. Joye, could you send me the address and a contact person of your dad's church? Thanks.
Langley, I know that you are feeling discouraged when you have some set backs, but don't let them get you down. NO ONE or NOTHING can get the Big Dog Down. Keep your head up and keep striving for success.Your doing wonderful!!! Your going to do this, it is just going to take sometime. Your a Champ!!! Stay positive and motivated and your going to get through this. I am glad to hear Denny and Kristine made it up there to see you, they are truly great people. You have so many others out here that love you and are battling right along with you. Our prayers are going to be answered. Take care of yourself most importantly. My prayers are never going to end for you. Love ya and miss you. Work sucks without your smile and your crackhead comments. Carrie
Langley:

Goodmorning Joye and Drew. Sorry to hear about the pain felt in his chest, and the inability to wean because of it. Another obstacle, but one he is stronger than.
I will pray for him and for the pain to pass so he can resume his breathing treatments.
My thoughts are with you both. Keep your head up and dont let him get discouraged.
