Joye's Update 6/3/08

A better day today . . . Andrew's headache was a little better today. He had an MRI done on his brain and neck today which took a very long time. Andrew has blood draws every 6 hours to monitor his blood count as he's on a lot of blood thinner, and due to the clots in his legs and a picc line in his right arm, they are only allowed to draw from the left arm. For his draw this afternoon, the lady drawing his blood chose to do so on the top of his left hand, of which many draws have come from the exact same place before, but today he actually felt her stick him with the needle and draw the blood. It was very exciting. Our prayers are being heard, so please continue to pray for Andrew . . . it's the best thing we can all do for him. Good Night and God Bless you all. Joye

Langley, I haven't written in a few days, but your never out of my mind and prayers. We just had so much going on this past weekend with graduations and all. I am glad to hear things are looking up again. And very excited to hear that you could feel the nurse poke your hand for the blood draw. I watched Oprah today and one of her quests was Kevin Everett and the amazing recovery he has had since his spinal cord injury. They call him the miracle man. Well, your going to be the next miracle man. Just keep your faith and dreams alive. I can't wait till Joye updates us on your special day where everything comes together and you beat all odds. And you will for this is the man I know. I will always pray for you throughout the day. You are loved no matter what. Joye once again, thank you for the continued updates. You just have no idea what this means to so many of us.

Hi Andrew and Joye,
WOO HOO!!! I was SO EXCITED to read that you felt the prick of the blood draw!! See, it's coming together. Slowly, but it's the good road to recovery. Never do I stop praying for you. I know you both are really looking forward to seeing the kids. I'm sure it's going to be a great time! Well, I'll close for now. I think about you both all the time. Take care you two.
Until next time.
Lots of Love,
Dawn

Joye & Drew,

I am so excited for you, you both must be exstatic about this new development. God has truly touched you. I pray for many more days like that for you both. Just a few more days and the kids will be there. I bet they are just as excited as you are to see them. Both of you take care and keep your eyes on God.

Whoo hoo on the being able to feel the needle stick! With each day, I'm confident more and more feeling will come back. Drew, I miss you so much and your big smile and goofing around in the office. Please know that every day prayers of healing are sent up to God for you. Know too that you are constantly in my thoughts. Always, Kathy
