Joye's Update 6/5/08
A very busy day for Andrew today. He weaned 3 times, he got up in his chair for physical and occupational therapy for 2 hours, he was finally able to get up to have a shower (they shower him in a special bed), and he ate lunch today. He slept very well last night, and I have a feeling he'll sleep good again tonight as he must be exhausted after the day he's had. His legs measured smaller again today as well; so all in all, he had a very good day today. We will keep praying for more days like today. God is good and I believe he will provide many more good days. Good Night and God bless you all. Joye

That is awesome Langley, I am so happy to hear that you had a much better day today. See, patience is a virtue. You are on your way to success in a full recovery. All the prayers and your strong will are making all the difference. Stay focused and determined as I always say. I bet that shower felt wonderful... Probably made you feel like a "New Man". That in itself is an uplifting feeling. I know from now on Joye's blogs are going to continue with great news.

More good news again today! What a wonderful blessing. I am so glad to hear of all the tasks you have been able to endure over the last few days. These are huge accomplishments. I bet that shower felt fabulous. ;}~ You’re a strong determined man and I know there isn’t anything you can’t do once you’ve set out to accomplish it. Keep up the good work, keep a smile on your face as always, & keep the faith. Keep your eyes on God and all things are possible. Joye thank you so much again for keeping us all informed of Drews progress. My prayers are constantly with you.

I was happy to read the good news today. You've both been so strong through all of this, and for that, God bless you. Drew is making good progess! This is just the beginning. I hope you two will enjoy your weekend with the kids!
