Joye's Update 8/4/08
Andrew had a pretty good day today. He was able to go to all his therapies and his classes today with much ease. It was also a good day today as they have officially removed the ventilator from Andrew's room today. They kept it in there "just in case" he needed it and they now feel he's out of the woods and it is not necessary to even have the vent in his room. Andrew was very happy to see it go. Andrew is concentrating very hard on moving his elbows as well as praying for God to give him this ability. Thank you all for your prayers . . . God is hearing them. Good Night and God Bless. Joye

Hi Joye and Andrew,
Been a while since I posted to you two. Of course Joye, we have talked. Well...talked,got cut off, talked, got cut off, talked... well, you know how it went. :-)
So Andrew, I will post to you tonight. I am also happy to "see" the vent go!!! WOOOOO HOOOOO!!! Prayers are truely being answered. So of course I will continue to pray for more recovery. Again, things I never dreamed I would be praying for...so now it's the elbow. Talked to Anthony tonight and he wanted me to tell you that he has continued his prayers for you every day and will continue to do so. Says he does it through out the day. Seems like you both will be coming home around the same time. (you know what I'm talking about). :) (Another one of my prayers being answered).
Well, I do need to end, as I have to go to bed. Yes, I do sleep. :-) But I've already told you that this is just the last thing I do before I go to bed. Praying for more progress.

I know you haven't heard from me in a while. But I have not stopped praying for you. So many good things happening for you. I am glad that the vent went away and all is going. I will continue to keep you all in prayer.
By the way Millan is standing in front of me and he said to tell you "Whats up crack head" He loves working for USBP and he said to tell you he's thinking about you, and he misses you.

Langley, your doing awesome. So very happy to hear they have taken the vent out of the room. I am sure that is one device you will never want to see again!! My prayers continue for you always. I'm so glad to hear that Andrew is doing so well! My Mom told me what happened a while back and I finally found your blog so I thought I'd write you guys and give you my thoughts and prayers. Keep up the good work and progress and keep both your heads up :] Miss you guys.
