Joye's Update 5/26/08
Kinda of a rough day today. Andrew's urine is much, much clearer; however, because of the bleeding, he had to be taken off his blood thinner. Because of this, he has a lot of swelling in his legs and has developed some more blood clots. Luckily, because of the clearer urine, he is able to get back on his blood thinner and he does still have a filter in place (that he received at St. Joseph's) and it will keep a clot from going to his lungs, heart and/or brain. They just have to watch his circulation in his legs very closely. Please continue to pray . . . it's all in the Lord's hands. Andrew continues to pray and when I asked him if he'd like me to read from his book tonight, he said, "no, just read from the Bible to me." So that's what I did until he finally was able to relax and go to sleep. He's staying strong and keeping his faith in God. That's all I could ask of him at this time. Good Night and God Bless you all. Joye

Hi Joye and Langley, we're praying for you! for no more surgery, that the swelling of your legs go down, no more blood clots, for a quick healing to take place right now in the mighty name of JESUS, from the top of your head to the bottom of the soles of your feet, in JESUS Mighty Name, AMEN! God is going to do a miracle for you Langley, just remain strong in your faith. We Love you, Nick & Marie
Joye & Drew,
I know lots of things went on this weekend but they all turned out well. Although you are still having pain in your throat hopefully they will be able to figure out what is irritating it. Know that you are both in my prayers. Good news is that you are able to eat and that is a big hurdle. God is healing you, just remember its all in his time not ours. Keep strong and hold on to one another, that in itself is enough to bring you both through this. God Bless, and keep your eyes on the Lord.
Always,
Robbin
Drew, Hang in there. Things will soon change. Please know that you are in my thoughts constantly and I pray every day for your speedy recovery. I miss your smiling face making the whole office laugh. Keep fighting. I know what a tough guy you are. If anyone can beat this, you will. All my love, Kathy xoxo
Joye, again, I thank you for all you do with continuing to post updates. I cannot convey my gratitude for that.
I am sorry to hear that you and Drew are now facing more complications. Although I know he will overcome them, I still dont like to see you two faced with more that you already have on your plate. I will continue to pray for both of you and ask that the only things you are faced with from here forward, is positive aspects of his recovery. And a speedy one at that.
Keep up your strength, faith and courage.
