Joye's Update 5/9/08

A pretty quiet day today. Most of the early part of the day, they did a lot of medical tests on him. He was pretty tired for the remainder of the day after all that. They will be doing some more tests tomorrow and then they may begin his weaning program from the ventilator. Andrew has been very nauseous and he's still getting accustomed to breathing at this altitude; hopefully that will pass soon. Other than that, there wasn't a whole lot going on today. I asked Andrew if he feels he's in the right place, and he says he feels very confident with his care here; he's just anxious to get going on his rehab program.
