Joye's Update 8/25/08

It was a good day today. Andrew's power chair (that he will be taking home) finally arrived, so he began learning to drive it today. It's basically the same as the chair he was in before, that belongs to Craig . . . but, there are a few differences that he will have to get used to. Andrew was pleased with his new chair and he said he now has even more of an incentive not to wreck (besides broken bones . . . go figure), but that he doesn't want to dent or scratch his new "hoopty." :) He's still the same ol' Andrew. It's getting closer and closer to when we will be back home and we're both excited and nervous at the same time. This hospital has been a huge security blanket for us and Andrew has felt so safe here. It was a blessing getting to come here and we are both so thankful to God for that. We also know that God will take care of us once we're home and that's all we need to know. Good Night and God Bless. Joye
