Joye's Update 9/12/08
We have been doing pretty good the past couple of days. Andrew is strict with his routine . . . he really likes staying on schedule, and that's fine, it makes him feel more secure to know how his day is going to go. We are also really pleased with the CNA's that are helping us . . . they are very caring and have been completely open to learning Andrew's care the "Craig" way. Andrew is sleeping well with exception to a little bit of anxiety he experiences early in the morning. It usually happens about 4:00 am which is the time he used to get up for work. I think he'd like it if I got him up at that time, but I'm just not (and have never been) able to function at that hour. For those of you who are early risers, please pray for Andrew during that time and ask God to calm him down and take the anxiety away (thank you). We continue to pray for arm movement and Andrew concentrates very hard throughout the day to make this happen. Good day and God Bless. Joye

Joye and Langley,
Naturally it's going to take some time to get adjusted, thankfully it sounds like things are going smoothly =)
I got a call from my friend Amy, who is married to Jeremy from UpRoot and she told me that UpRoot is the live entertainment at the benefit. I was like WooHoo!! Langley so you know what that means you best get your "wheels" to practicing ReGGae =D because it's going be ON!!
Thoughts and prayers continue as always...CYA soon.
Michele
I'm glad to hear that you both are adjusting well to finally being home. I would like to come visit sometime next week if that's okay. Joye, I will call first, of course. I continue to pray for you Drew, especially the use of your hands. You know so many people are on your side! Love always, Kathy
Drew,
You have an earlier riser living right behind you. Millard has been retired for four years now and still rises each morning as if he were going to work. Maybe we could string two cans with connecting string between our homes so you two can visit while Joye & I "sleep in". We continue in prayer for you both - Millard will take that early morning shift.

HI ANDREW AND JOYE!!!!!
Yep, it's me. I was great seeing the both of you today!!! Of course I had to post just as a reminder that I continue to pray both with you, and for you!!! Arm movement. Yep, that is the prayer each day. I will add a prayer for anxiety. There are also prayers for continued progress and healing. I can feel. I just can. And I know you both feel it as well. Joye, I understand when you say you feel the strength after prayers with Barry. Although I have never met him, I see the peace you both seem to have when you talk about him. It makes me look forward to meeting him.
Again, it was great to spend some time talking with you both. Can't wait for the next time.... :-)
Until next time.
LOTS AND LOTS OF LOVE!!!!!
Dawn
