Joye's Update 9/28/08
Just checking in as I know it's been a while since I posted. All is going well . . . it's just hard for me to find the time to sit down at the computer these days. Andrew is still doing well; he's still able to move his arms in the same manner he was doing in the video. He exercises his arms all throughout the day and he is feeling a soreness in his arm muscles which is a good thing as this means there is definitely a message getting from his brain to those muscles that are below his level of injury. In other words . . . it's not just his shoulders doing all the work, and this is VERY encouraging. He has been having some more anxiety in the early morning hours again, so I ask that you please pray for him to get past these hours without having the bothersome anxiety attacks. They keep him awake and make him extremely uncomfortable. Also, please continue to pray for more arm movement. He is giving everything he has to bending his elbows. That kind of movement would be an unbelievable breakthrough . . . it would be a miracle from God and we still hold faith that the Lord will do this for him. Hey this is Sarah Allsman I used to cut Drew`s "hair". Just want you guys to know our family and friends and anyone we can get to listen is praying for your family. I just lost my mother very suddenly and I know how much a family can get tapped out with all that needs to be done. Good to hear that things are good. I continue to pray each and every day. Again, I know the elbow will happen. I can feel it. Andrew, I'll pray for you to have relaxed mornings. He's there with you. Each and every day. Every moment. Let Him be your comfort in the morning.
My last day at the second job is Friday. Looking forward to that. (Not looking forward to not haveing that extra money) :-) Oh well. I'll just have to stop shopping. :-O

Drew and Joye, That video was awesome! I just kept playing it over and over with tears of JOY. Thank you God for blessing our brother Drew with this new gift. You're both amazing! I don't think I could have done what you both continue to do. I can't wait to see you both next week.

Joye and Drew, thank you for the update! The video is phenomenal! We've been promoting the benefit at Britain & Sons like crazy on the stations, so hopefully there will be a huge turnout.
