Joye's Update 9/7/08

We have had another pretty good day/night. We are really trying hard to get into a routine and it's coming along okay so far. Andrew is becoming more comfortable being away from the security of Craig and I too am becoming more comfortable without that security as well. Andrew has also told me he is ready to begin accepting visitors. We are only asking that you please call before-hand to make sure that he's feeling up to a visit and (most importantly) that I have enough time to get out of my pajamas (ha ha) . . . that has been a most difficult task for me lately :) Our home number is 342-7535. If I'm unable to get to the phone, please feel free to leave a message and I will get back to you asap as a lot of the time I'm tied up with Andrew's needs. Please continue to pray for Andrew . . . most specifically, we are concentrating on him getting movement in his arms. God is awesome and me and Andrew both have complete faith that The Lord Jesus will provide for him. Good Day and God Bless you all. Joye

Hi Andrew and Joye,

Well it's great that you are ready to see ALL the people who want to visit!! :-) I am in Phoneix for the week for a training. I'll call on my way back into town to see how things are going and maybe stop by for a minute just to say hello and give you both a hug.

Prayers will continue. I too know it will happen.

Until next time.
LOTS AND LOTS OF LOVE!!!!!!

Joye and Andrew,
I was so dishartened to find out through Louie speaking at YALE and passing out a flying about Drew's condition. Since that day I have said a prayer for his full recovery and strength for you, Joye and Drew and the kids. You guys are wonderful people. I am sorry this has fallen upon you. I had a fusion at C-5/C-6 in January and was scared to death. Mine has turned out well. I just wish Drew's would have turned out the same. I know that you all are strong and Drew will recover.
You have many friends and family who care for you both. If there is anything I can do, please dont hesitate to ask.

Welcome home, Drew and Joye! I can only imagine that the past 5 months have weighed heavily on you both, making the return home, a very cherished and heartfelt event. While challenges still lie ahead, battling them from the comfort of your home may make the fight a little easier.
It really is such good news to know you both are back home.
Our thoughts and prayers remain~
